:: Dr. Christopher Harmon :: Dr. Harmon holds the Kim T. Adamson Chair of Insurgency & Terrorism as Professor of International Relations at the Command & Staff College, Marine Corps University, in Quantico, Virginia, and has taught as an Associate Professor of Strategy at the Naval War College. Dr. Harmon also has experience on Capitol Hill, where he began his career as a Legislative Aide for Foreign Policy for Congressman James A. Courter in the U.S. House of Representative. Dr. Harmon’s efforts have also been recognized by the U.S. State Department; Dr. Harmon is a recipient of the State Department’s “Distinguished Public Service Award.” He is the author of two books, Terrorism Today, and Statecraft and Power: Essays in Honor of Harold W. Rood, and has published numerous articles on terrorism. Dr. Harmon received his Ph.D. and M.A. at Claremont Graduate School, and received his B.A. degree from Seattle University.
