:: Ilan Berman, J.D. ::

    Mr. Berman is Vice President for Policy at the American Foreign Policy Council in Washington, D.C.  An expert on regional security in the Middle East, Central Asia and the Russian Federation, he has consulted for both the Central Intelligence Agency and the  Department of Defense.  He has also provided assistance on foreign policy and national security issues to a range of government agencies and Congressional offices.  Mr. Berman serves as a member of the reconstituted Committee on the Present Danger, and is editor of the Journal of International Security Affairs.  Mr. Berman holds a Masters in International Politics from American University in Washington, D.C., and a Juris Doctorate from the Washington College of Law.
