Dr. Jared McKinney

Biography

Dr. Jared Morgan McKinney is a scholar of international relations with a focus on East Asia and great power peace. He holds a PhD from Singapore’s Nanyang Technological University (S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies). In addition to master’s degrees from Peking University and the London School of Economics, he is also a graduate of Missouri State University’s Defense and Strategic Studies program. He has published academic articles in a variety of journals including: The Journal of Strategic Studies, Third World Quarterly, and Comparative Strategy, and the Journal of Indo-Pacific Affairs. He is working on a book provisionally entitled, Journey to Peace: How Great Powers Coexist.
